Why don't Pakistanis seek medical facilities and treatment from China rather than going to India which has stopped issuing visas to Pakistanis?

Why did so many Indians went to study, live and work in United Sates not in Soviet Union during cold war? India was closer to Soviets and Americans did consider nuking India in 1971, but still the dream destination of Indians remained New York not Moscow.

The flow of students, professionals, patients etc is not determined by the politics. It is determined by the ease of travel, facilities, culture, cost, opportunities etc. Indian medical facilities are among cheapest in the world and it is quite good. Travelling to India is very easy once you have Visa. Delhi is more nearer to Lahore than Karachi. The language & culture is almost same. A Pakistani would certainty find India more familiar than China.

Indian Medical tourism industry turnover is around 4 billion USD and expected to cross 8 billion USD by 2020. Apollo group received 170,000 foreign patients alone from 87 countries during 2016-17. India is popular destination for patients from Middle-East & Africa. Medical tourists from Europe and the US come here for cosmetic surgeries that are not covered by insurance. That is why despite India-Pakistan tensions, India is most preferred & logical choice for Pakistani patients.
