Why there is so much opposition to new UP CM Yogi Adityanath?

Indian Media & so called “Liberal Intellectuals” are still in shocked due to elevation of Yogi Adityanath as UP CM. Yogi has been compared to even Hitler on Social Media by many opposition supporters. Prime time Anchors like Rajdeep Sardesai are sharing clips of Yogi’s old speeches. Barkha Dutt says that rise of Modi may be failure of liberal politics. Even she had problem with Swati Singh becoming minister in Yogi’s cabinet. Everyone is busy in accusing Modi of betraying the mandate of UP. No one is ready to give Adityanath a chance to prove himself.

Why everyone is behind Yogi? The same group was behind then Gujrat CM Narendra Modi. I clearly remember that one lady anchor of NDTV was reminded by an English MP that Modi has been acquitted by Indian Supreme Court when she was accusing Modi of inciting Gujrat riots. Many journalists made their career out of Gujrat riots reporting. Indian media has been pro Congress & Left form beginning. They were taken aback by BJP’s rise in 90s. Now they have yet not accepted the fact that BJP is no 1 political party in India. When Modi became BJP’s PM candidate, most of the media house opposed this move tooth & nail. Any supporter of Modi is called “Bhakt” by Media and opposition. Yes, we must not blindly follow anyone. But what is wrong in supporting something which I consider right?

The journalists have enjoyed patronage from Congress since very long times. Now the same group feels threatened by rise of new class of Journalists who are Modi sympathizer or neutral. These “liberal” journalists doesn’t cover the Malda riots or Karina issue. But they covered Akhlaq for many month. It was a national shame that Akhlaq was killed over beef but why media is so biased. I will be called a liberal if I care for animals (say dogs), but I will be a right wing fanatic if I talk about cow welfare. If a Akhilesh Yadav becomes UP CM then it is the victory of young India but a 5 term young MP Yogi Adityanath is inexperienced in becoming CM. If Hyderabad elects a Owasi then its victory of democracy but BJP victory in UP is loss of liberal values in India. Why Media houses didn’t show Akbaruddin Owaisi’s hate speech on TV. Why there is double standard? I don’t agree with many speeches of Yogi Adiytyanath. He was absolutely wrong on many points. India is a secular country and we all have equal rights. But there should be no appeasement politics either by political parties or media. All political parties including BJP do polarizing politics before election. RJD, BSP, SP, Tamil parties, TNC, Shiv Sena, Congress all do polarization on name of caste, language or religion. Why only single out BJP? It was Congress which started the Babri Masjid issue and BJP grabbed it.    

We must see Yogi Adityanath’s work in Gorakhpur. He has done good work in his constituency. He is 2^nd most popular BJP leader after Modi in UP. As per some reports, more than 200 MLAs supported his name. He is leader of BJP’s legislative party in UP and as per constitution he has every right to become CM. Also he has not been convicted in any case. His Math employees a lot of Muslims and many Muslims usually go to his janta darbar to get their problems solved. Why main stream media doesn’t cover this story? Media should be unbiased. It should show all the aspects of new UP CM. Many people argues that Modi’s & Yogi’s rise is similar to that of Hitler and Hitler also asked for one change to prove himself. I can say only one thing to those “get well soon”. Comparing elected Indian leaders to Hitler is insult to Indian democracy.
